COASTALWATCH | PREMIUM FEATURE

The global online premiere of Searching for Michael Peterson, included in your Coastalwatch Plus membership, was shown from Friday, June 26 to Monday morning June 29. If you’re not already a Coastalwatch Plus member, sign up for a 15-day free trial here. The film is now available for download/purchase right here.

To read more about the making of this feature, check Nick Carroll's story and interview with director Jolyon Hoff from Thursday.

"Between 1972 and 1977 Michael Peterson was the best surfer in Australia, but there's a fine line between genius and madness and the stories of MP's exploits are part of Australian surfing folklore. Searching for Michael Peterson features interviews with the world champions, filmmakers and locals who watched the whole mad ride. Includes classic footage of MP not seen for thirty years."
