Morning Report for Avoca, 6.30am, Tuesday: SSE swell has dropped back a couple of notches from yesterday's peak, still hovering in the waist to chest-high range on the sets grading to about knee high at the south end. Light to moderate onshore SSE winds are adding in plenty of texture across the south-exposed beaches. There's a wave to be had - just think high buoyancy and you'll be fine, and best to get in before the tide fills in to a 11.39am high.

Rest of the Day:  SSE swell will continue to dwindle as winds rotate ESE to E/NE at around 10 to 12 knots throughout the afternoon, opening up some improvement across the south facing beaches. The tide runs out to a 6.16pm low. Have a great day.
